About Kompas AI School
Kompas means compass — the instrument that does not move the traveller, it tells them which way is which. We embed AI curriculum, faculty, and labs on Indian university campuses so every graduate exits AI-capable, in the four years they are already paying for.

We re-read this when we feel lost. It outranks any quarterly plan. The full version, including agent instructions and what we will never do, lives in the public ethos document.
We sign with universities. Every decision is judged by whether it makes the student more AI-capable.

Open curriculumFaculty must be technically excellent — and believe deeply that the tier-3 student deserves the same teaching quality as the IIT student.

The platformHow we got here
Kompas began with a frustration shared by founders, faculty, and senior recruiters: the day-one capability gap between Indian graduates and AI hiring. The brief is short and the constraints are tight on purpose.
We named the gap: 800+ private universities educating the majority of Indian graduates with no AI capability inside the degree. Online bootcamps are not the answer.
Decision committed in writing: we sign with universities, never with students. The constraint is also the moat.

First Kompas-powered cohorts on partner campuses. Industry-in-the-room cadence and adaptive platform live.
What we are deliberately not
Run a D2C consumer funnel.
Instead: We sign with universities; the student is the purpose, not the customer.
Offer Income Share Agreements or pay-after-placement.
Instead: Clean B2B per-seat fees. The student does not contract with us.
Co-brand with a university we cannot staff full-time.
Instead: At least one Embedded AI Faculty on campus, every partner.
Publish a placement number we cannot defend with primary records.
Instead: We publish what we can prove. Nothing else.
Use a partner's logo without active written consent for that specific use.
Instead: Logo licensing is a clause in every MSA, refreshed per campaign.
Train students on AI tools we have not personally used in production.
Instead: Every tool in the curriculum is one our faculty have shipped with.
Let a sales target override an academic standard.
Instead: Delivery quality decides who we sign, not pipeline pressure.
Pretend a course is "industry-co-designed" without an industry co-designer.
Instead: Every capstone names its sponsoring partner — with consent.
